Perhaps I should,
Like the rain
And the mist,
Follow the falling
rivers and streams.
The drops and the drips
snake and turn.
Ebb and flow
over rocks and mud,
over grass and leaves.
Rinse the world clean
and pull it all after me.
Formless and free
To
plunge,
to
fall.

I quite understand the drama herein. There are times, when, like your poem says, we would like to crawl into a deep hole and pull the world in after us.

I found your blog tag surfing for new poetry and read everything … sometimes it is enough to simply say thank you for sharing your words, oh, and I was deeply touched by them. Look forward to following your blog.

I have just realized that when you click on “fauxcajun” it sends you to an old MySpace site. Don’t know why, but here is my address if you care to see what I’m all about, http://swampsalad.wordpress.com/
